RICHWOOD, Ohio, April 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ –The inception for Richwood Marketing took place more than a year ago when Richwood Bank launched their successful Buzz Points program. The marketing and sales teams from the bank began working directly with many of the more than 1,950 business customers currently choosing Richwood Bank as their financial institution.
What was discovered is that many small businesses across several industries in central Ohio didn’t have access to local creative consulting. To these small businesses, marketing was not attainable, or they simply didn’t see how it could ever be affordable.
The solutions began to evolve naturally. By initially offering support and ideas for promotion through the Buzz Points program, CEO and President Chad Hoffman questioned, “How can we do even more?”
Hoffman stated, “We want to move past the singular transaction of a banking relationship and offer more for our customers. We want to identify solutions that allow our businesses to grow while gaining efficiency and establishing a true voice of who they are in our communities. We’ve got a strong, driven marketing group that is able to provide professional creative work to those we serve.”
Exclusive to Richwood Bank business customers, Richwood Marketing is available for consulting, social media implementation and management, campaign design, website development/hosting, branding, event coordination and email marketing. This is only the beginning.
Heather Wirtz, Chief Development Officer of Richwood Bank explains, “We meet with our local business owners and listen to identify their goals, audience and message. We then partner with them to implement a customized, affordable plan that provides them relevancy and impact. Our goal is to increase their bottom line. When they win, we win.”
Wirtz knows the success vision all too well. With nearly 20 years of hands on experience in advertising and media across the country, she’s partnered with companies from national automotive manufacturers and celebrities to hometown appliance shops and jewelry stores.
“I’ve been fortunate to partner with a wide variety of organizations- from fortune 500 companies to incubator businesses with no employees. To me, each and every one of them possesses a common thread – the entrepreneurial spirit that drives us all. Each and every professional I get to solve problems for took a risk at some point to jump and build a successful business. We have the privilege to help them grow. It’s an honor to connect a business to their consumers.”
Of course Wirtz couldn’t accomplish such a feat alone. Richwood Marketing currently consists of seven talented people with individual strengths that will contribute to the success of the new company.
Richwood Marketing is hosting an open house of their newly renovated space located at 15 Ottawa Street in Richwood on April 24th from 1-3 pm.
