$500 Holiday Shopping Spree Giveaway – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PARTICIPATION NECESSARY TO ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND D.C., 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor – The Holiday Shopping Spree Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is being sponsored by:

2. Eligibility – The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the Giveaway start date. Employees (and their immediate families (i.e., spouse, parents, siblings, children, step parents, step children, and step siblings, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of the Sponsor, its parent entity, affiliated companies, sponsors, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and third party fulfillment or judging agencies, are not eligible to enter or win the Giveaway.  The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
3. Agreement to Official Rules – Participation in the Giveaway constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize in the Giveaway is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
4. Giveaway Period – The Giveaway begins on October 1, 2024 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on November 30, 2024 at 5:00 PM ET (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will be disqualified.
5. How to Enter – Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Giveaway Period using either of the following methods:
   1. Via online entry by visiting the Richwood Bank website (https://richwoodbank.com/relationship-review/) (the “Website”) and following the directions provided to complete and submit the entry form.
   2. By scheduling a Relationship Review and visiting your local Richwood Bank branch and attending and completing a Relationship Review meeting.

Limit one entry per person, per email address, per mobile phone number for the duration of the Giveaway Period, regardless of method of entry.  If more than the allowable number of entries are received in a day, only the first entry per day will be accepted and additional entries will be disqualified. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by you to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations or logins, or any other methods may void your entries and you may be disqualified from the Giveaway. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents (including, but not limited to, sweepstakes entry services) will void all entries by you. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

6. Prizes –Each Prize Winner will receive the following (the “Prize”): one (1) $500 VISA gift card. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.  The Prize is non-transferable.  Any and all Prize-related expenses, including without limitation, gift card activation fees, any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.  Acceptance of a Prize grants the Sponsor permission to use the winners’ entry, name, and likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law.
7. Prize Drawing – On or about December 5^th, 2024, two (2) potential prize winners (each a “Prize Winner”) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the total number of entries received.  The Sponsor will attempt to notify the prospective Prize Winners on or about December 5^th, 2024.  If a prospective Prize Winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days after the date of the first attempt to contact them, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in their place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. Sponsor’s decisions with respect to the Prize Winners, these Official Rules, and all other matters pertaining to the Giveaway shall be final and binding. A prospective Prize Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, and return same, properly executed, within five (5) days of issuance of prize notification.
8. General Terms and Conditions – In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but limited to, fraud, virus, unauthorized human intervention, or other technical problem, or in the event the Giveaway is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by the Sponsor in their sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in their sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules, or (b) terminate the Giveaway and, in the event of termination, award the Prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.

The Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) and any other remedies form any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of the provision.

9. Release and limitations of Liability – By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Giveaways, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of the prize, including, but not limited to the following:
   1. Any technical errors associated with the Giveaway, including lost, interrupted, or unavailable Internet Service Providers (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability, or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower, or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure;
   2. Unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaways;
   3. Mechanical, network, electronic, human, computer, printing, or typographical errors;
   4. Lost, late, incomplete, garbled, illegible, undelivered, stolen, damaged, delayed, postage-due, or misdirected mail, entries, application downloads, or text messages;
   5. Any other errors or problems in the administration with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Giveaway, the announcement of the winners, the cancellation or postponement of the event, if applicable, the incorrect downloading of the application, the processing of the entries, or any Giveaway-related materials;
   6. Injury, death, losses, or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly, or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Giveaways or acceptance, receipt, or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto).

Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees.  Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway.  The Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

10. Disputes – Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action out of, or connected with, the Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to the form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Ohio. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, and interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights, and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Ohio.
11. Privacy – Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy. Please review Sponsor’s privacy policy located at: https://richwoodbank.com/privacy-policy/. By participating in the Giveaway, you hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsor’s privacy policy. When you enter at the Website, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional emails and reminders for upcoming promotions and information about Sponsor. Consenting to receive such emails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Giveaway and does not improve your chances of winning. Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes your consent to Sponsor’s use of your name, likeness, entry, and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
