Richwood Bank will host an open house to celebrate the grand opening of its new Marysville branch location on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, 250 E Fifth St., Marysville. Thegrand opening will introduce Richwood Coffee with free drinks, commemorate the bank’s 150th year in business with giveaways and tours, and feature an official ribbon cutting ceremony by the Union County Chamber of Commerce at 10:00 am. On-site demonstrations of our advanced mobile and online banking solutions will also be available.
Richwood Coffee is Coming
Designed with our community as top priority, the new two-story branch will bring new banking conveniences, additional parking, and a coffee shop – with a purpose. When customers purchase a delicious drink, our community beneficiaries receive 100% of the donation to gain more funding to help improve the lives of others in Union County.
Community beneficiaries include: Union County Humane Society; United Way of Union County; Care Train of Union County; Impact 60; Union County Foundation; Habitat for Humanity of Delaware & Union Counties; Marysville Exempted Village School District; Memorial Health; and Fairbanks Local School District.
The coffee shop is not a fresh innovation for the bank. The Marysville grand opening will mark the third coffee shop to open since 2015. Its pilot launch in Richwood, Ohio garnered more than $51,000 in donations in less than two years, and within its first two weeks of opening in Delaware, Ohio, over $2,000 alone was raised. Designed to foster the idea of community, Richwood Coffee also provides local residents and visitors with a comfortable lounge, free WiFi, and other drink options in addition to coffee, such as tea and smoothies. The new location is open to everyone and conveniently located in the heart of historic uptown Marysville.
Additional Parking Spaces for Uptown
The new expansion is perpetuating many discussions within the Marysville community. Thanks to support from the city, over 30 parking spots have been added to the new location, in addition to Walnut Street being repaved with parallel parking along the entire location. After hours parking is being welcomed for Uptown activities.
